Our Approach
Technical Applications Group is a professional services firm that works with private sector companies in order to develop and provide innovative technologies to support the military. Our goal is to bridge the gap between industry capabilities and military requirements by finding, verifying, and exploiting the most innovative technologies available.
In simplest terms, we locate companies offering technologies we know have a valuable use case and requirement, as well as technologies ahead of potential requirements. Our objective is not to find good ideas and science projects needing years of R&D funding, but to find companies offering a 70% solution to a known or stated problem.
We only deal with best-of-breed technologies and capabilities. The client companies we represent are hand-picked because we see value in what they do; we never take on clients unless we feel there is a need for their capabilities – no one’s time needs to be wasted and expectations need to be set accurately. We invest time and resources at the beginning of any engagement, before contracts and agreements are signed, to promote a successful outcome.
Technical Applications Group is not a sales and marketing-focused organization. However, we know that in order for the right technologies to make it into the hands of the right people at the right time, sales must occur. We work with our clients to ensure their technology is presented in a meaningful way and that it meets a publicly known requirement. We also offer valuable subject matter expertise and guidance to assist businesses in having their technology objectively reviewed by the government.
